| Day 1 - Arrival - Kunming |
• Meet on
arrival (either from Bangkok or Chiang Mai) at Kunming International
airport and transfer to hotel
• Dinner set Chinese and accommodation at
the Kai Wah Plaza Int’l Hotel***** or similar |

| Day 2 - Kunming - Dali |
• Breakfast at hotel
• Early tranfer to airport for morning flight
to Dali.
• On arrival, visit the Cangshan Mountain
by cable car and view the Erhai Lake from the mountain. Visit
the Tie-Dye-Cloth workshop at Zhoucheng Town, the Bai People’s
Town Xizhou with their traditional Three-course-Tea Singing
and Dancing Show.
• Lunch en route
• On the way back, stop at the famous three elegant
pagodas, the outstanding landmark of the region. The rest
of the afternoon, will be free for your own discovering of the
Old Stone Town of Dali with its colourful markets.
• Dinner at local restaurant.
• Overnight at Asia Star Hotel**** or similar. |

| Day 3 - Dali - Lijiang |
• Breakfast
at hotel
• Overland drive from Dali to Lijiang via
the newly-reopened road with stop and visit of the Bai minority
village Xinhua and its handicrafts workshops.
• Upon arrival in Lijiang, visit of the Black
Dragon Pond (the Five Phoenix Pavilion and the Dongba Research
Institute) and the old town of Lijiang.
• Lunch at local restaurant in Hequing
• Dinner at Din Din Restaurant
• Accommodation at the Guanfang Hotel*****

| Day 4 - Lijiang |
• Breakfast
at hotel
• Visit of the Dragon Spruce Meadows of the Jade
Dragon Snow Mountains (roundtrip cable incl.), the Jade
Peak Monastery, the Baisha village and the frescos, the Longquan
(Dragon Spring) village.
• Lunch at local restaurant.
• Dinner set Chinese and accommodation at the
Guanfang Hotel***** or similar |

| Day 5 - Lijiang - Zhongdian |
• Breakfast
at hotel
• Overland drive via the Yunnan/Tibet road to
Zhongdian. Stops and visits of the Shigu (Stone Drum) village,
the First Bend of the Yangtze River, and the Tiger Leaping Gorge
en route.
• Lunch at local restaurant
• Upon arrival Zhongdian, check in at the Diqing
Hotel*** or similar
• Dinner and accommodation at hotel |

| Day 6 - Zhongdian |
• Breakfast
at hotel
• Visit of the Ganden Songzanlin Monastery,
the Napa Nature Reserve, the Tibetan Hospital, the local market
and some local Tibetan households.
• Lunch and dinner at local restaurant
• Accommodation at the Diqing Hotel*** or

| Day 7 - Zhongdian - Kunming - Stone Forest |
• Breakfast at hotel
• Transfer to airport for morning flight Zhongdian/Kunming
• Upon arrival, visit of the Stone Forest,
one of China’s most remarkable natural phenomena located
98 kms southwest of Kunming. It consists of 80 hectares of innumerable
bizarre-shaped ancient limestone cliffs and peaks created by
wind and water erosion some 270 million years ago. The Stone
Forest area is the home of the Sani minority, a branch of the
Yi tribe (reputed for their diligence, valour, wisdom, exquisite
embroidery and melodious songs and graceful dances) who also
offer cultural performances nightly.

| Day 8 - Kunming -Western Hills - departure |
• Breakfast
at hotel
• In the morning, drive to the Western Hills
followed by a 10 minute chairlift ride up the hill. From the
top a path winds down the famous “Dragon Gate”. On
the way to the Western Hills, stop at the Huating Buddhist temple.
• Lunch at local restaurant.
• Visit of the flower and bird market if
time permits it before transfer to the airport for departure
