Nha Trang Nightlife
What to Do at Night in Nha Trang
Nha Trang has a plethora of bars but pretty much only one place where people go late. As things stand the early evening competition is what makes or breaks bars here so expect unlimited bargains during happy hour, usually from 19:00-22:00.
The Shamrock Bar
For a change from the dance music pumping out of many of the bars here try The Shamrock Bar, an Irish-themed pub run by two Scots. Inside are imported beers and cider such as Strongbow, and a cosy pub-like atmosphere.
Address: 56a Nguyen Thien Thuat Street.
Guava
Centrally located Guava has a good reputation as being young and chic with occasional good live acts and comfortable armchairs.
Address: 17 Biet Thu Street.
Crazy Kim Bar
Living up to its moniker, Crazy Kim is a pretty wild place with an untamed clientele. In the heart of the backpacker area, Crazy Kim is particularly popular wit the diving community.
Address:
19 Biet Thu Street
Tel: (058) 816-072
Why Not Bar
Almost all of Nha Trang's bars are obliged by law to close at midnight but Why Not is one of the few that have slipped through the net and not many of its late-night patrons are arguing against this.
Address: 24 Tran Quang Khai Street
Tel: (058) 811-652
Jack's Roof Terrace Bar and Restaurant
South of town (across from the Evason Ana Mandara), Jack's is run by friendly Jack himself. It is a lively place with pub grub and an amusing clientele.
Address: 96A/8 Tran Phu Street
Tel: (058) 813-862
The Sailing Club
By the time midnight has arrived, if already not there, better head over to the Sailing Club. This is the late night gathering spot for nearly everyone who is still up in Nha Trang. Located right on the beach, the Sailing Club has large outside seating areas both inside and out, and at night, a dance floor that's crowded.
Address:
72-74 Tran Phu Street – Across from the Hai Yen Hotel
