 The
Coast surrounding the Furama Resort offers a new and exciting
destination for divers in Asia. With its crystal clear waters,
coral formations and white sandy beaches, this region of Vietnam
has just been discovered by dive enthusiasts from around the
world.
The sole operator of dive activities in this area is located
at the Furama Resort, run by International Dive Instructor
Gerald Strauss. A certified professional with more than thirty
years of experience, Gerald Strauss runs a World Class Diving
Centre with state of the art equipment and offers a comprehensive
range of dive services and courses for beginners to the more
experienced diver seeking new and exciting challenges.
Open from March to October each year, the Dive Base conducts
a comprehensive range of internationally recognized courses
for the beginner and advanced diver. A certified PADI Resort
(Ref.No.R6604), the Furama offers the PADI Open Water Diver
and Advanced Open Water Diver, and the CMAS Basic Diver and
CMAS 1 and 2 star certificates. Youth courses are conducted
upon request.
Diving charges start at US$ 50 for one dive per day, inclusive
of all equipment and boating, up to US$ 400 for Open Water
Dive Courses. Courses are conducted in English and German.
The Dive Base is also open to non-guests of the Resort.

A full range of Water Sports will keep you busy. Stop
by the Water Sport House where our experienced staff
are waiting to assist or train you in the use of any
of our equipment. Catamaran Sailing, Windsurfing, Ocean
Kayaking, Body Boarding, Aqua Cycling, Water Skiing,
Wake Boarding, Banana and other tow-able items are all
available for rental.

Located in the Gardens of our West Wing the Tennis
Court Clubhouse is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
With two Floodlit Tennis Courts, artificial turf courts,

Range, Table Tennis and PlayStation 2 video games. The
Clubhouse is the place to learn something new or keep
your swing or serve in shape.

ambience of our Games Room or Library. Enjoy a game
of Snooker or Pool or relax over a game of Chess, Back

For those who like to work out on their holidays, the
Fitness Centre in our Health Club is open from 6 a.m.
to 11 p.m. daily. With Nautilus and Free Weights, Cardio
-Running, Stepping, Recumbent and traditional Cycle
the ‘Fitness Buff’ has many options. But for
the ‘Die Hard’ Fitness Fans, feel free to
join with our Life Guards - specially trained by the
Royal Life Saving Society of Australia - on their daily
morning workout at 10 a.m. in the Water Sport House!

A Children’s Room is free of charge and available
daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. where our experienced Babysitters
will watch after your little ones and keep them entertained
throughout the day. A babysitter can also be arranged
in your room after 6 if you need more private time.
For older children there is a playground located on
the beach as well as a host of beach games for them
to enjoy.

The
Joy Paradise Club |

Located on a square of 1,200 meters, Furama’s
Joy Paradise Club is the first only gaming centre in
central Vietnam. The Joy Paradise Club offers affordable
facilities, including 40 slot machines, 01 Karaoke lounge,
3 KTV rooms, one roulette, a cigar bar and a night club.
Our KTV will open for Vietnamese and foreigners of all
ages and the gaming center’s entry is for guests
above 18 years old. The Joy Paradise Club opens from
11 a.m to 2 a.m daily. We provide a comfortable and
fun atmosphere to all members and guests. Let’s
come and share fun at our Joy Paradise Club.

 You
meet up with our Vietnamese Chef at the resort lobby at 8
am to depart to Han market where our Chef will explain what
ingredients, herbs and vegetables Da Nang people choose for
the daily food.
You come back to the resort by 10 am and then you will be
given an orientation tour of the resort kitchen to see the
chefs at work. The cooking demonstration will be at the kitchen
where you can participate in the cooking process. After the
class, lunch will be served at the Caf? Indochine with all
the dishes you have prepared during the class. A class picture
with the Chef will be given to you during your stay at the
Furama.
