Vietnam Beaches & Islands
|
|
Beach holidays are booming in Vietnam. With such a long and
strikingly beautiful coastline that stretches the entire length
of the country (almost 2,000km), combined with pleasant weather
all year round, its hardly surprising and no longer
a best-kept secret.
White, sandy beaches. Coconut palms in abundance, lapped
by the warm South China Sea. No less than 71 islands, and
dozens of pristine diving and snorkelling locations. The famous
limestone formations of Halong Bay. Charming fishing villages.
It sounds a little bit like paradise, doesnt it? Yet,
paradise without the crowds.
Vietnam is a fast-emerging tourist destination. No other
Southeast Asian country has seen such a rapid growth in tourism
numbers, fuelled by an irresistible combination of exotic
sights, sounds, wonderful cuisine, affordability and the countrys
friendly, hospitable people. Vietnams 'pièce
de résistance', however, remains its scenic and unspoiled
coastline. Lets take a closer look at some of the most
popular beaches and islands in Vietnam

of natural corrosion, the bases of many of have partially
disintegrated to the point where they seemingly balance
on thin air, while their shapes often resemble objects
like animals which they are also named after.
