Chiang Rai, the northernmost province of Thailand is about 785 kilometers north of Bangkok. Situated on the Kok River basin, Chiang Rai covers an area of approximately 11,678 square meters with an average elevation of 580 meters above sea level.

The province, which is located within the renowned Golden Triangle area where Myanmar, Laos and Thailand converge, is also known as the gateway to Myanmar, Laos and Southern China. You will meet the way of life various hill tribes; Akha, The Akha are closely related with the Hani of Yunnan province, China, the Akha-Hani complex numbers about two to three million people, but with just over 70,000 members in Thai territory.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Chiangmai - Chiangrai - Boat - Elephant - Lahu Hilltirbe Village

08:00	Depart from Chiangmai with our well experience jungle trekking guide by local pick - up truck stop will be make at hot spring.
10:00	Continue the trip to Chiangrai.
12:00	Lunch at local restaurant.
13:00	Arrive Chiangrai and take an experience the long-tailed speedboat upstream Mae kok River for 1 hours then enjoy elephant riding through the jungle 1 -1.5 hours to Karen hilltribe village.
16:00	Trek for 1 -1.5 hours to Lahu hilltribe village.
19:00	Dinner and overnight at Lahu hilltirbe village.

Day 2 : Lahu Hilltribe Village - Waterfall - Akha Hilltribe Village

08:00	Breakfast at the village.
09:00	Trek for 1.5 hours to waterfall, then trek 20 mins to another Lahu hilltribe village, enjoy the beautiful scenery.
12:00	Lunch will be provided.
13:00	Continue the trek for 2 hours through the fantastic rice filed too Akha hilltribe village.
15:00	Arrive Akha hilltribe village. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Akha Hilltribe Village - Mae Sai - Golden Triangle - Chiangmai

09:00	Trek for 1 - 1.5 hours along various stream to Shan village to get the mini pick - up truck to the border town of Mae Sai, location of jade and jewelry market.
12:00	Continue the trip to have lunch at the restaurant at Golden Triangle and then visit the ancient city of Chiang Saen.
15:00	Return to Chiangmai.
18:00	Arrive Chiangmai, Transfer to hotel on reservation.
