Chiangmai - Sanpathong - Karen Village - Elephant Ride - Waterfall - Shan Village - Rafting

Doi Inthanon National Park covers the areas of Sanpatong District, Chomthong District, Mae Chaem District, Mae Wang District, and Toi Lor Sub-district of Chiang Mai Province within an approximate area of 482 square kilometers.

The National Park consists of high mountains, including Doi Inthanon, which is the highest mountaintop in Thailand and the source of many rivers such as Ping River, where the Bhumipol Dam is situated and generating the electrical power. The National Park has beautiful natural scenery such as waterfalls, particularly Vachirayan Waterfall, which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Chiangmai - Sanpathong - Karen Village

09:00	Depart from Chiangmai after breakfast by the truck to Sanpathong village, stop to see the local market get in touch with local peoples see trades sale their goods, foods, vegetables, fruits and flowers.
10:00	Continue driving to Karen hilltirbe village.
14:00	Begin the trek for 2 hours to the Hmong hilltribe village.
16:00	Arrive Hmong hilltribe village, Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Karen Village - Elephant Ride - Waterfall - Karen Village

08:00	Breakfast at the village.
09:00	We will spend whole morning trek from village for 4 hours to Elephant camp.
12:00	Lunch at the Camp.
13:30	Get experience riding elephant about 1 ? hours through the jungle.
15:00	Continue walk further to Karen hilltirbe village.
17:00	Arrive Karen hilltirbe village, Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Karen Village - Shan Village - Rafting - Chiangmai

08:30	Breakfast at the village.
09:30	Leave Karen by foot for 2 hours to the Rafting camp about 2 hours.
11:00	Take bamboo rafting about 2 hours.
13:00	Lunch at Shan village.
14:00	Take the truck to visit the highest mountain in Thailand to visit the King and Queen's pagodas which the built to celebrate 60's birthday Anniversary in 1987 and 1992 respectively.
15:00	Drive down hill to see the most famous beautiful waterfall Vachiratharn.
16:00	Transfer back to Chiangmai.
