Chiang Mai – Karen Village – Mae Hong Sorn

Combining the beauty of the northern Thailand and exciting adventures, this three-day package takes you to places like Orchid Nursery and Butterfly Farm and Maetaman Elephant Camp. An ox-cart ride will whisk you through scenic surroundings, before the first day concludes at the peaceful Karen Hill Tribe Village. The next two days are filled with visits to ancient caves and unique Burmese-style temples in Mae Hong Sorn.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Chiangmai – Karen Hilltribe Village

08:00	leave from Chiangmai after breakfast by 4x4 WD. to the North, stop at the beautiful Nursery and Butterfly farm.
09:30	Continue drive to Maetaeng district for Maetaman elephant camp. See the elephant shows by Bathing, responds the commands, demonstration to work in the jungle by Dragging and pushing Logs.
10:30	Experience elephant ride through the jungle for one hour, continue the Ox- cart riding for 15 minutes back to the camp.
12:00	Lunch will be provided at the camp.
13:00	Enjoy the peaceful scenery by take the bamboo rafting along Maetaeng river for and hour. On the way, see the nice Lychee and Longan fruit Orchards.
15:30	Drive up to winding road and bumpy road to Karen Hilltribe village Baan Mae Jok.
17:00	Arrive the village, relax by see the simple life, unique custom and chitchat with the hilltribe people.
18:30	Dinner at the village (Guide will cook for the clients with easy Thai cuisine) Overnight at the village. ( Sleep in the Bamboo cottage, dormitory room house )

Day 2 : Karen Hilltribe Village - Mae Hong Sorn

08:30	Breakfast at the village. Leave from Karen village by 4x4 WD. via Pai and Tam Lod.
11:00	Visit the biggest Cave in Mae Hong Sorn called “ Tam Lod” the Pre- Historical cave and take short Bamboo raft to see the ancient in side the cave, See the beautiful stalactite and stalagmite.
12:00	Picnic lunch will be provided.
13:00	Transfer to visit Lahu hilltribe village, Baan Mae Lana, Fish cave and Mae Hong Sorn.
16:30	Arrive Mae Hong Sorn. Transfer to Golden Pai resort.
18:30	Barbecue Dinner will be served at the resort.

Day 3 : Mae Hong Sorn – Chiangmai

08:30	Breakfast at the resort. Transfer to visit Padong Long neck tribe at Baan Nai Soi.
11:00	Continue to visit the beautiful Myanmese style temple at Wat Jongcom, Wat Jongklang, Wat Doi kong Moo and Wat Hao Wieng. Lunch at the local restaurant. Transfer to Mae Hong Sorn Airport for take the afternoon flight to Chiangmai. Arrive Chiangmai, transfer to hotel.
