Getting There from Outside Mekong Countries
Travelers can access to Myanmar both by air and by land, all accesses valid passports (at least six months of validity from the time of entry) and visas are required, yet getting Myanmar by land maybe less foreseeable.

Domestic airlines and flights: Air Mandalay and Yangon Airways are privately operated airlines flying throughout Myanmar .
Connections between Mekong countries
At present, visitors can cross at three places to Myanmar from Ruili (China) Mu se; from Mae Sai (Thailand ) to Tachileik; and from Ranong (Thailand) to Kawthoung. However, people cannot reach Myanmar by land or by sea from Bangladesh, India and Laos.
Travel by land, entry with a Border Pass is permitted at the following Border Check Points: Tachileik, Three Pagoda Pass, Myawaddy and Kawthaung on the Myanmar-Thai border and Lweje, Nam Kham, Muse, Kyukoke, Kwanlong, Mong Lar on the Myanmar-Yunnan (China) border along.
Cruise Ships call at Yangon Port with Visa on Arrival being granted on prior arrangement.
