Arimid is an atmospheric cluster of bungalows, closer to the slowboat pier than the centre of town. Bungalows are adjoined by small balconies in groups of two or three. Made of dark wood and stained rattan, theyre attractive and prettily furnished, although the rooms do have a slightly damp smell. The tiled bathrooms are clean and have a hot shower.
