Grand Hotel Saigon has just started to enlarge their new wing with an additional number of 120 rooms. The construction is located on the left side of the hotel facing Ho Huan Nghiep Street. In 2009 the new extension is planned to be finalized. The Grand Hotel plans to upgrade hotel facilities to 5 star standards.
