About Bac My An:
Around 8km south of Danang and 2 kilometres from China Beach, lies the smooth white sand of Bac My An Beach. Quiet and unspoilt, the beach is fringed with local seafood stalls. The centrepiece of the beach is the elegant Furama Resort, popular with visitors sightseeing around the area. forms part of a long stretch of sand that follows the coastline around famous China Beach. There are some excellent resorts in the area, including the five star Furama Resort.
The third largest city in Vietnam, Da Nang has a colourful history reflected in its many cultural attractions. Around the city lie the ancient sites of Simhapura and Indrapura and the remains of the ancient Cham civilization who ruled the region for 1,500 years. At various times, the French, Spanish and Americans occupied Danang leaving their inprint in the colonial style buildings and tree lined avenues. Close by are the World Heritage sites of Hue, Hoi An, and the My Son Valley.
