Following the fine culinary tradition of its region, Zhejiang, yet being deeply influenced by Shanghai's own contemporary culture, Shanghai cuisine is delicate and ultra modern. As poultry plays a major part in Shanghai cuisine, the finest freshwater produce from Mekong River is the most important ingredient of the recipe. (To ensure the utmost freshness, Le Jade is equipped with an aquarium in the kitchen.)
Shanghainese dim sum, although less known to the world, is also an art of its own. Besides the traditional Shanghai delicacies, if you are feeling adventurous, ask for our durian pastry or other genuine dim sum that inspired by the regional ingredients.
