About Ao Nang:
Ao Nang or Ao Phra Nang, features Krabi's most developed beach. Fringed by palms, the long beach is backed by a wide range of accommodation including resorts, bungalows and guesthouses. Ao Nang with a good choice of restaurants and hotels is Krabi's most popular beach. Ao Nang also provides a embarkation point for beautiful Railey Beach - accessible only by boat. Many of the more upscale hotels are located on developing Klong Muang and nearby Tubkaak - a very quiet beach area - providing a perfect holiday retreat.
Ko Lanta and the Phi Phi Islands are part of Krabi province and both lie within a designated marine national park.
